No doubt, since her assumption of office at PTAD, it was not difficult for Sharon to identify areas in need of critical change and quickly facilitated the inauguration of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) within the Directorate. She developed a pension policy document guiding the operations of all departments at the Directorate, including mobile verification teams to verify infirm pensioner in their homes and hospitals across the country. Sharon’s dedication enthusiasm and compassion has earned her the name-Mama Pension. This is the mark of a woman known as an articulate and an insightful thought leader in Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD). She is reckoned to have made meaningful contributions in both public and private sectors that made her a recipient of so many awards and recognitions including ‘Business Day 2017 Excellence in Public Services Award.
